Unadulterated excellence. The Yamanote line is the train line that circles the center of Tokyo, each station having it’s own distinctive tune (the urban myth being that this so drunk, sleeping salarymen can use it as a subconscious alarm for when they are at their stop, so they don’t miss it on the way home).

This guy has taken the tunes and 8bit-ised them, and made a little animation :) My stop is Tokyo, the first one. Pretty good rendition.

Also love the pixelly hiragana, reminiscent of 8bit Final Fantasy games heh.
